What a shocking news... yup i was once a fan of him... in fact, i still think he was still good and can do a come back.. tp sbb byk kes itu ini... dia lagi famous for not popular matter... anyway, i love his songs.. many of them... especially from HiStory album, the first audio CD i bought with my own duit...

may he rest in peace... and kalau betul lah dia dah pernah masuk islam... semoga matinya dalam islam...

sekadar nak tgk.. aku pun join lah bebudak office aku... sorang org local sini ajak aku g... but a good club, dgr live music je.. not really club yg party2 tu... a decent one she promised. so last thursday aku ikut lah dia... sekali ngan sorang perempuan Ghana (but british lah kot) dan sorang mamat dr congo... yeah... very afrikaan... hehehe... we all went to Klub Afrique, ada showcase by Eric Wainaina...

seriously tak rugi langsung.. interesting music... aku minat gile sampai aku beli cd dia hehehe... very good live performance... very lively... oh... we didnt continue to party that night... i have to catch a flight to Mara the next day :-)

Lagu hari pilihanraya...

Masa balik sudah aku beli a new album (tak la br mana, but terbaru lah) of one of my favourite artists... Norah Jones. Malam tadi br aku berpeluang nak dengar the album (tu pun tak abis) and i was attracted to the melody of this song.. sekali dengar i dah suka dah... n aku terus cek lyric... rupa nya its related to election day.... hmm... since kat Malaysia sedang dan akan menghadapi pilihanraya kecil lagi 13 hari.. lagu ni aku tujukan kat org-org Malaysia... :-)

For those yg rajin jengok2 blog ni... sure dah bosan sbb dah takde citer menarik... semuanya berpunca sbb aku pun agak bosan lately... hehehe.. (read : malas) maybe next week ada citer menarik...

dah tak de aktiviti menarik nak ditaruh kat sini pun... so selalunya aktiviti normal bg aku dan kengkawan kat sini ialah layan internet... sekarang ni demam pilihanraya.... apa buat... baca blog n suratkhabar online.... sampai aku dah muak pasal pilihanraya, sampai rasa dah penat baca benda2 itu ini pasal politik malaysia...

Doha 9th Music Festival...

*tetiba plak lagu nancy ajram mengiringi blog ni.. :-) sebab kimi ngan aku g concert nancy ajram semalam :-)

last week budak office aku bagi tahu ada Doha Music Festival berlangsung dari 24-29 January (check out news here...)

bila aku nampak nama nancy ajram, terus aku telepon kimi, and he delighted n nak tgk nancy... dan kita org beli lah tiket QR100 25hb (smlm) - tiket paling murah.

concert start jam 9pm. being first timer, jam 8.45 kitaorg dah kat sheraton, takde signboard, we've tawaf the whole hotel then baru tahu pintu masuk ke hall pun belum buka, n katanya jam 9 br buka. then we've been told, nancy ajram jam 1.30am/2am br akan mula persembahan. sebabkan kimi lapar, we had dinner at as shaheen restaurant kat roof top hotel. cantik view corniche dr restaurant ni.

so jam 10.50pm baru kitaorg masuk dewan yg gah dengan patung firaun dan pyramid. It's an egyptian theme this year. sementara nak tunggu pukul 2 tu, ada persembahan dari penyanyi Qatar Saad al fahad dan Iraq Majid muhandess. Dua orang ni vokal dia mantap, cuma i think I prefer pop singer. depa ni nyanyi lagu mcm bersyair... tengah2 nyanyi siap orang blh tepuk tangan which aku tak tahu sbb apa... lighting cantik.. music live... sedap arrangement... tp sbb kurang appreciat dan tak tahu apa depa cakap... we take a minute two nap kejap2. (siap kimi kena tegur ngan minah arab sebelah dia suruh balik umah tido... hahaha) tp among the 2 the iraqi lagi best lah, ada element pop skit, and the crowd stand and dance along

then at 1.40am... br lah muncul nancy ajram mengalunkan lagu2 pop dia... according to khizmie.. its worth the waiting... mmg gaya manja lenggok badan nancy terus buat mata terjaga... hehehe... walaupun agak jauh dan stage besar gedabak... tapi best... dia nyanyi lagu popular dia tp kimi tak dapat dengar lagu favourite dia Shakbat Shakabeet... in fact kalau bayar 200 pun dia kata ok... siap ramai bangun menari... tp, yg tak minat kan lagu pop, ramai yg blah... the good thing abt nancy, dia dapat capture attention kids too.. so ramai lah bebudak pun menari2 ikut lagu along side orang2 tua.. :-) and masa nancy jugak lah ada groups yg jerit Nancy! Nancy!!! memang meriah and happening...

sampai lah jam 2.45 baru abis show... satisfied... n balik ngantuk.. terus doozed off... :-)

Hati ku tertinggal di Malaysia...

ooh... sebabkan demam lagu indon kat Malaysia masa aku balik kg... aku dah tukar lagu2 kat jukebox dah.... lagu indon...

tp among all lagu indon ni... ada satu tu lagu titled hati ku tertinggal di malaysia nyanyian kumpulan dewa yg paling aku benci sekali... so aku tak masuk pun lagu tu kat jukebox ni...

tp kan... tajuk tu lah paling relevan utk situasi aku masa sekarang ni... hmmm... bila lah hati ku akan berada bersama aku di Doha ni.... hmmm....

Kara OK... ok ker???

We had a joint birthday celebration kat Red Box Karaoke sempena birthday Sha n Zu on 20th Oct... since Zu mmg raja karaoke kat doha.. plus sha mmg vocal wanita paling mantap kat doha (sbb dia je pompuan yg join karaoke kat doha hahaha) so birthday ni buat lah kat pusat karaoke... hehehe... date kena tunda lewat dr birthday depa sbb MT dan Zu br sampai KL from KB on that day...

selain daripada zu n sha dan aku as organiser... family zu, nizam, razi, MT, BH dan famil pun join.. (MT n famil chicken out, tak nyanyi pun). it was a 3-hour karaoke session yg tanpa sengaja extended for another 1/2 hour... with buffet spread yg ok ler... it was quite fun sbb dapat menyanyi dgn sound system yg best dan unlimited songs... kalau kat doha ad cd sama jer kan... hehehe...
