These are the malls that I have been to:
1. Pentagon Fashion City
Ni lah mall pertama aku pergi, last week on 2nd day aku g. pretty easy to get there sbb ni lah mall yg ada connect ngan Metroline. Naik orange line terus sampai Pentagon City, atas Metro station ada mall. apa ada kat mall ni - lots of branded/designers shops, plus ada Macy's etc... for more info cari je lah kat internet... or click here... and Iphone shop pun ada kat sini. Tak besar mana mall ni, tp ok lah... slightly mcm besar Ipoh Parade, Ipoh but livelier hahaha... (ipoh parade tu mandom giler!!!)2. Tyson Corner Centre
According to the web, ni antara top 10 biggest mall kat US ni. so ni lah mall paling besar kat sini. but to get there, kena naik metro sampai West Falls Church, then naik bas 28A/B yg mmg tulis g tyson corner. total cost metro n train tu... dlm 3-5 usd depends on ur timing. Bas ni 30 minit sekali kot... tyson ni besar tp tak lah menarik in term of interior design... it is slightly bigger than City Center doha.. but smaller than mid valley kot. Ada bigger Macy's there... but benda lain lebih kurang Pentagon City tu je... but since kena naik bas, i won't go there anymore.
3. Potomac Yards
Yang ni aku g masa aku g pentagon city... naik cab which cost me 9USD. reason aku g pun, sbb nak cari TJ Maxx, kedai jual branded item yg murah. kat situ ada best buy gak. aku rasa ada bas ke situ but masa tu br second day, i do not know which bus. but definitely taxi pun kurang. it took me 40 minutes utk dpt teksi, itu teksi yg call... bukan tahan tepi jalan. wont go there again.
4. Union Station
another shops outlet, located kat dlm union station, i.e. station keretapi kat sini. mall ni cantik... tp tak banyak lah choice. but since dia located kat central station, it has nice set up.. and bumbung tu... mmg semua metroline bawah tanah ada bumbung mcm tu.. cantik... :-)
5. Georgetown mall
aku masuk mall ni masa aku g halloween kat georgetown... ada mall and the area surrounding it ada designers shops. naik circulator bas dr K street, in 10-15 minutes dah sampai area ni, cost USD 1. nak g lagi in couple of days. and apparently i found out ada cafe sells halal food around the area... 1 cafe n 1 restaurant lagi... should pay a visit again... perhaps on wednesday or thursday.6. tepi-tepi jalan
kat around DC ni, ada gak shops tepi2 jalan... i do not know where is the center... tp i saw loads around 18street.... i think the further u go out of town... u can see better streets with shops
7. Leesburg Premium Outlet
ha... based on internet, this is the best and nearest factory outlet. so aku pun g lah ke outlet ni last weekend... hehehe... and shop quite a lot. ada COACH outlet which sells cheap stuff... ada polo, tommy, timberland, 9west, CK, Kenneth Cole, etc etc etc... cari kat internet lah for shop listing... hehehe....
when i say nearest, it is not that near... kena naik train sampai West Falls church (tpt nak g tyson corner) and kena ambil taxi... perjalanan ngan teksi tu dlm 40 minit around 30 miles!!! and halfway to get there akan lalu Dulles international airport. mmg jauh... teksi tu pergi balik around 60-70USD!!! thats like RM400-450 (lebih kurang) pergi balik. in fact, kalau sekadar nak tgk and tak shopping... memang rugi, unless g ramai2 lah. 
what did i buy??? some goodies for family je.. tak banyak :-) but still i spend like almost 4 hours there.. hik hik hik (dah bayar mahal transport nak dtg!!!)
