KBL : Flight...

Flight dari Dubai ke Kabul jam 6.30am, utk jadi well prepared aku dah check in jam 3.30am. awal sungguh. Kam Air was not that bad... except for bau org kat dlm flight, (morning flight which more than half passenger sure tak mandi punya - not including me). but the food pun tak berapa blh makan, telur dia mcm very plain... anyway, aku rasa that really sbb bau org kot.. hahaha...

the flight was very smooth, aku pun byk tertidor.. its a 3 hours flight lalu atas deserts and gunung ganang je... however the excitement tetiba muncul bila dah nak mendarat

(one of the town i can see from top... apparently Kabul pun lebih kurang je..)

sampai satu point the pilot announce nak mendarat, the plane jadi very steep... macam menjunam instead of decsending skit2... dah lah very steep dia mcm berayun kiri dan kanan... very berayun, u can really feel it... and tetiba ada 2 kali dia buat turn kiri dan kanan... and nak sampai ke tanah laju dan menjunam and continue berayun kiri dan kanan... akhirnya Alhamdulillah.. aku dpt land dengan selamat :-)

aku citer la kat budak office pasal my experience, rupanya thats normal. they are trying to kurang kan time utk fly rendah, so kena decsending laju2. ni utk mengelakkan usaha sesapa nak bomb or lancar roket on the plane... hmmm.... logic gak...

fly dubai tu flight kat terminal 2 dubai airport - terminal 2 ni utk flight to Kabul, Baghdad, Kandahar and sewaktu dengannya)

Off to Kabul...

Aku dah check in flight utk ke Dubai... transit kejap before my flight to Kabul pagi esok jam 6.30am (dubai time)...

FYI, ada 2 afghan airlines - Kam Air dan Ariana. Aku naik Kam Air.

so my next entry would be from Kabul... kalau blogger tak kena block... and internet connection elok...

Next trip... KBL...

Just got the visa yesterday setelah seminggu lebih aku submit... disebabkan dpt lambat dan ada meeting plak on monday, aku postponed trip ni sehari... instead of flying on Monday, fly to Kbl on Tuesday instead.

Mixed emotions... kind of excited... but keep thinking should i be worried as well... anyway, I'll be away from 10th - 22nd August. Mcm kena start puasa kat sana plak...

Lagenda...

Hari Jumaat sudah ada member aku ajak g makan kat the new 'malaysian' restaurant kat doha ni, Lagenda. Actually, aku tak rasa ni malaysian restaurant, cuma restaurant kat hotel holiday villa yg ada menu malaysian food kot. its a buffet breakfast at QR76 per person.

the buffet spread tak lah byk sangat variety, i think maybe dia tahu kitaorg je nak makan. memang ye pun, for the first 1 - 2 hours tu, kitaorg je makan kat situ. banyak nya western breakfast spread and arabic spread... tp tu pun tak lah byk. aku rasa depa still bajet2 utk taruh semua, sbb tak expect ramai org... ada 2 je (or shall i say only one) malaysian food - nasi lemak dan puree ngan kuah... so apa lagi, nasi lemak lah yg depa (not me, i started with fruits and taking pictures) balun dulu...

so talking abt nasi lemak...

the sambal tu sedap jugak... tp agak pedas lah.. not for international standard... seriously pedas

tp nasi dia out... kurang lemak... n kurang bau... aku bg tahu the manager and aku tanya, tak taruh pandan ke? dia admit, mmg taruh serai n halia je, sbb pandan tak de... so mcm makan nasi putih je lah...

but still we enjoyed the time there.. mainly enjoy sembang2 lah.. in terms of food, for QR76, we need more variety... aku dah pesan kat manager tu yg dia blh caj mahal if they remained the authenticity (betul ke ejaan aku ni) of the food... like pakai lah mee kuning instead of spagetthi... ada kerang, taugeh n daun kucai for char kue tiow... etc etc... dia agree with me on that... plus he even said that the current malaysian restaurant kat souq tu pun harga lagi tinggi... he plans to put a cheaper price for the food at the hotel...

the manager also said that every friday ada malaysian's buffet... in couple of months aku check out... but for me, apa depa perlu buat, is a good ramadhan buka puasa buffet... if they can score 10/10 for the buffet and dpt pull crowd... depa insyaAllah better than the current malaysian restaurant... (ntah kenapa, aku giler2 anti seri kebayan tu.. hahaha)
