I do not know whether to accept the news of Aiyeen family leaving us as a bad or a good news... being selfish... i take it as a bad news (kurang kawan... tak de port... etc etc etc) but being a good fren... i'm really happy for the opportunity in front of them...

setelah menunggu beberapa minggu, both of them dah dapat permit keje utk menyambung keje kat L0nd0n... good for them (jeles gak)... tp bukan lah depa dapat g terus, sbb now nak kena uruskan visa lah plak... hmmm.... birokrasi... in a month time.. most probably depa akan tinggalkan doha ter'cinta' ni.

anyway, since dah dapat berita gembira tu... dan dalam usaha untuk memulakan clearkan umah, aiyeen family (including parents aizal) menjemput kitaorg makan2... (as the last makan2 at their place) its a small gathering with simple but extremely delicious laksa johor n nasi beriani cooked by aizal's mom... so delicious until aku makan 2 mangkuk laksa and 2 pinggan nasi beriani (hmmm.. that was my only meal for the day ok)

to aiyeen family... the very best of luck... semoga tercapai semua impian n cita-cita... agak2 bosan kat london tu... cari-carikan lah keje utk aku jugak ye... :-) we'll be missing you... definitely.

Makan2 S'pore style...

I was lucky sebab member seofis aku dari s'pore ni rajin benar ajak aku join her s'pore group makan2... banyak kali dah aku tolak... tp at last, jumaat lepas, i agree to join them... it's again another makan2 lah... macam lah beza sangat ngan makan2 ngan member2 aku m'sian tu... cuma segan skit (hahahaahaha!!!)

it's a lunch gathering to wish good bye to one of frens yg nak balik s'pore for good. and i contribute my green curry chicken and ayam pandan which received plenty of praises :-) hehehehe (bangga diri ni). but thats not significant enough... among the members of the group are few air crew... and what they brought for the lunch was really good... ada century eggs, rojak buah with fresh star fruit & jambu batu... and cencaluk!!! actually both cencaluk n century eggs tu tak lah selalu aku makan pun... but still... yummy...

after the makan2 we went for coffee at bateel, salwa road. rupanya depa craving for lime mint yg tetiba mesin rosak plak... and at the same time, tetiba ada surprise birthday celebration... its for agnes yg nak balik for good to delivery her baby, punya birthday... so kiranya 2 celebration (farewell and birthday) for agnes in a day. anyway, i really enjoy the gathering... nanti blh lah join depa lagi :-) (kalau dijemput lah)


to agnes (although i know you wont be reading this blog) selamat melahirkan cahaya mata dan semoga panjang umur dan murah rezeki :-)

Appreciation....

Kadang-kadang in fact selalunya rasa lagi best masa terima appreciation at time when you least expected... :-)

alhamdulillah...

anyway, how do you translate job promotion... it's ussually come with an increase in grade and salary kan? tp apa maknanya kena promote tp gaji tetap takuk lama.... for me... baik kena downgrade but naik gaji... less responsibility but more cash to play around... hehehhehehe... funny policy.

Burung Unta @ Bir Zikreet...

Jumaat lepas aku ngan family kat doha ni g jenjalan ke bir zikreet... bir zikreet ni letak nya kat utara dukhan... dalam ras abaruk peninsular... for those yg nak ke sana, pergi ke arah dukhan few kilometres from Dukhan ada satu simpang ke kanan... dalam 1 km lepas masuk simpang kanan tu jalan elok lagi... tp lepas tu jalan berbatu2... and its totally advisable utk pakai 4wd... bukan sbb tpt tu mcm sand dune, tp lebih sbb permukaan yg berbatu besar.

for us... kitaorang bertolak dari doha dengan 2 kereta dengan aku pinjam 4wd sorang Qatari ni (dlm satu kereta ada azerdills, kimi, abe n nije + aina of che' le's) dan satu lagi kereta aiyeen's family. Che' Le's cancelled last minute sbb tetiba tayar pancit lepas balik solat jumaat... what a waste...

it took about 45 minutes from Doha utk sampai ke simpang tu... Bir Zikreet ni kampung kecil yg awal2 kita pass bila sampai kat situ... kampung kecik je.. lepas pekan tu kiranya kawasan ras abaruk peninsular lah... it took approximately 1 hour utk sampai ke tip of ras abaruk peninsular... so apa yg menarik kat sana... ada few targets aku kat sana....

1. actually kat situ ada satu bentuk menarik terjadi akibat hakisan angin (aku rasa lah) yg menghasilkan batu kapur umpama cendawan butang... (tak de lah se banyak yg ada kat Cappadocia Turkey, but good enough)

2. Pada masa gulf war, ada kem askar sementara... ada lah berek tempat askar tinggalan perang tu... tak blh ambil gambar plak kat situ...

3. around year 2000, QTV pernah menjadikan Ras Abaruk ni tempat penggambaran perang... dan terbina jugak satu bandar kecil kat utara Ras Abaruk. ada satu kawasan berhampiran mushroom shape rock tu di buat kawasan perang, yang sekililngnya ada hut seumpama gambar sebelah ni (taken from other blog). tajuk filem tersebut adalah Eial al-deeb: The Sons of the Wolf, tak tahu lah boleh cari ke tak kat kedai citer ni. katanya ada 3 set penggambaran direka kat area ni... and benda ni bertahan until now...

4. Ras abaruk ni juga kawasan pemuliharaan burung unta (ostrich) dan gazelle (oryx). kitaorang jumpa sekumpulan burung unta termasuk telur burung ni... sempat ambil gambar lagi.... dan on the way balik kitaorg ada ternampak wild oryx.. about 500meters from our car... ambil gambar pun tak nampak jelas.. but still nampak jugak the wild oryx :-)

5. of course apa lagi yg dibuat kalau outing kalau tak picnic... asalnya nak mandi laut tapi tak sempat, tp still sempat lah berpicnic kat tepi laut. air nya sejuk masa ambil air sembahyang for solat asar dan maghrib. air cetek sangat sesuai utk kids je... dan disebabkan angin kuat, it's a good place utk main layang2.

it was a fun trip... something different... and the experience dapat drive 4wd tu pun best gak.. belasah je semua jalan balun :-) more pics... see the slide show...

sekarang ni dah jadi permainan kitaorang tiap tiap minggu plak.... start minggu lepas... and minggu ni jugak... W!! N!ntend0 dah jadi aktiviti kitaorg... dulu start ngan main sports... now sibuk ngan dance mat... tp bukan bebudak yg melompat-lompat menari... tp bapak ngan mak budak... (bebudak main duduk tepi n main benda lain)

it was really fun...

And another sad story...

mlm smlm aku tertinggal hp M'sia aku kat umah, and i received a missed from one of my good fren, jarang dia call aku, thought of calling him again kat office nanti (hehehe... from my office i can call anywhere in the world :-)) then pepagi tadi, i received an sms from another good fren and also a message in my FB:

Din passed away...
From what I can gather, he was in a training session with his team when he suddenly collapse on the field last night. The guys said his whole body shook though his leg remained stiff. His condition didn't improve when they carried him into the ambulance and before long, he left us.

Just like that. I do not know the full length of the story yet, but some of us will be gathering at the HKL Emergency Ward about 10am tomorrow to join the convoy to send Che Din's body back to Johore. He will be greatly missed.

he's one of my good fren in KL. he's only 28 if i'm not mistaken... as in my previous post, at anytime, bila2 je ajal blh datang... sekelip mata... it is certainly a shock news for us...

have you prepared yourself for that? i am certainly not :-( kena lebih bersedia ni... Alfatihah to Che Din... semoga roh nya dicucuri Rahmat...

bagi orang-orang yang kat dua tempat yang mengalami malapetaka ni... for sure terasa mcm dah kiamat je... thinking again... at anytime beribu-ribu nyawa terkorban... ni belum kira perang-perang yg non stop kat palestine, lebanon, iraq, afghan etc...

oh... btw... hari ni genap 60 tahun penaklukan Israel di bumi Palestine (since 14 mei 1948)... which may be the main cause of kucar kacir dan perang di muka bumi arab khususnya dan mungkin seluruh dunia...

bukan susah sangat nak mati sekarang ni...

One thing that i learned a lot while am here in Doha, specifically in my current employment, is to put the least hope in all positive things.... hehehe... the more I hope... the more it may not materialise... not putting any hope will work wonders... :-)

ntah lah... kenkadang bila tak berharap, masa tu lah ada orang macam beri kan harapan... tp bila dah excited masa tu lah harapan berkecai or tak menjadi... hmmm...

sabar je lah...

(but susah lah nak hilang kan pengharapan, because am a day dreamer... suka sangat berangan... hahaha, InsyaAllah... ada lah rezeki tu)

Pity Burma...

masa aku balik raya haji sudah, aku dah ada plan nak fly g ke Burma ni... tp masa tu kecoh lah plak pasal sami buddha riot... so i've cancelled the trip and plan to go this year...

now dah plak kena cyclone plak... kesian nya... :-(

but still i'm planning to go there... hopefully once the havoc dah clear...

musim berubah...

seperti yg aku pernah citer dulu, org kata musim akan berubah bila hujan turun... and for the past few days/weeks hari semakin panas... and semalam hujan sekejap... sekejap tu makna nya tak sampai pun 10 minit. cukup lah sekadar sempat mengotorkan kereta aku yg berdebu penuh tu...

lebih kurang jam 3ptg semlm, masa aku kat office, tetiba dengar bunyi hujan yg bunyinya mcm lebat. semua org kat office nampak tersenyum n berlari ke tingkap... hehehe.. lama sungguh tak hujan... tp sekejap je lah... but its enough to make ppl smile :-) so bila hujan ni, aku anggap dah masuk lah musim panas kat Doha ni (ada ke musim sejuk pun, hehehe)

hmmm... but sedar tak sedar dah bulan 5 tahun 2008! cepat sungguh masa berlalu... dan aku sebenarnya ada 4 bulan saja lagi kat Doha ni. should i stay.. or should i go somewhere else... but anyway... if i ever stay pun... harap-harap i wont be facing next summer... this year summer would be my last summer in Doha... insyaAllah...
